1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using StandingDesk ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the app. These Terms form a legal agreement between you and Spaghetti Coder Apps ("we," "us," "our").

2. Description of Service

StandingDesk is an iOS app that helps users alternate between sitting, standing, and moving throughout the workday using the 20-8-2 method. The app provides timers, reminders, analytics, and optional HealthKit and Apple Watch integrations.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use StandingDesk. By using the app you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

5. Health Disclaimer

StandingDesk is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The app's reminders and intervals are general wellness suggestions based on published ergonomic research. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider about your posture, back pain, or any health condition — especially before changing your sitting or standing routine if you have an existing medical concern.

6. Your Content

You retain all rights to data you create in StandingDesk (session records, custom modes, preferences). You grant us a limited license to store and process this data solely to provide the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your data and do not use it for any purpose outside of delivering the app's features.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

8. Intellectual Property

The StandingDesk name, logo, visual design, and app code are the property of Spaghetti Coder Apps and are protected by copyright and trademark law. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the app at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your use at any time by deleting the app and cancelling any active subscription.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific expectations.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spaghetti Coder Apps is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to health outcomes, lost data, or lost productivity. Our total liability for any claim related to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be surfaced in the app. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Spaghetti Coder Apps is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
