Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Dukie ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
2. Service Description
Dukie is an iOS application designed to help people record and understand their digestive health. The App provides:
- Record bowel movements using the Bristol stool scale, with optional colour, duration, amount, notes and photos
- Review your history on a calendar and in a timeline
- Export your data as a CSV file (a Premium feature)
- Sync between your own devices through your private iCloud account. Sync is handled entirely by iCloud — to stop it, sign out of iCloud on your device or turn off iCloud for the App in your device settings.
3. Accounts & Authentication
To use the App, you must sign in with your Apple ID using your device. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your Apple ID
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us of any unauthorized use
4. Subscriptions & Payments
Free Tier
Unlimited logging and the full calendar — free, forever. The core log is never paywalled.
Premium Subscription
Unlimited history, correlation insights, CSV export, doctor-ready PDF reports, multiple profiles, and data widgets.
Billing
- Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- You can manage subscriptions in your Apple ID settings
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policies. Contact Apple Support for refund requests.
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you create in the App, including:
- The entries you log, including any notes and photos you attach
- Any data you export from the app
- Any personal notes or data you input
By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your content as needed to provide our services.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App to:
- Generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
- Use the service for purposes it was not designed for
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
Violation of these terms may result in immediate termination of your account without refund.
7. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, and code, is owned by Spaghetti Coder Apps and protected by intellectual property laws.
8. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING:
- MERCHANTABILITY
- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
- NON-INFRINGEMENT
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of data or business opportunities
- Any damages exceeding the amount you paid us in the past 12 months
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason.
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the App ceases immediately
- Your local data remains on your device unless you delete the app
- You may delete your account and server data from Settings before termination
